Yummy Giveaway
Does this look yummy to you? I can assure you that it was delicious. I made it last weekend using a fabulous recipe in “The Original Country Bob’s Cookbook”. I am always looking for some new recipes- and this book is full of them. Here is the yummy one that I used:
All-Purpose Marinade or Basting Sauce
Ingredients:
1 cup vegetable oil
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/2 cup vinegar
2/3 cups Country Bob’s All Purpose Sauce
2 tablespoons dry mustard
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon pepper
2 teaspoons chopped fresh parsley
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 to 1 teaspoon Tabasco sauce (optional- I didn’t use it)
Directions:
Combine all ingredients in a blender and process until the parsley is puréed. Marinate the meat in a portion of the marinade in the refrigerator for 2 to 4 hours. Drain and discard marinade. Grill the meat using the remaining sauce for basting frequently.
Then enjoy the yummyness. And it was so good. Even Hailey ate it- and if my picky toddler loved it then it’s sure to be a hit with everyone.

I like (this isnt an item for sale) that the site expresses “bobs” faith, love and devotion to God. That is cool. Not many companies will do that this day. They are to afraid to offend people. I blogged and linked ya in my blog.

We’ve tried this sauce before for our ribs. Just smear it on and bake them, then use a little extra for dipping. So easy and good! On his website, it says “Christ is our CEO”.

I’ve tried Country Bob’s before and really enjoyed it. Not sure why I’ve never visited the site before but it was a first for me. I’m excited about the cook book and especially appreciate that they “give credit where credit is due.” So often that is forgotten!

I use Country Bobs as a steak sauce instead of A1 just love it. Use it on burgers instead of kerchup…you wouldn’t believe the difference, will have to try it on the steaks while there on the grill. What an idea!!

Hmm.. the Spicy All Purpose Sauce says it’s good on seafood. I’m an East Coaster and I’ve never had bbq on anything other than shrimp.
I tried to find this sauce in my grocery store but to no avail. Hubby is a Texan who loves bbq !

We have been using Country Bob’s sauce for years, but it was exciting to see a Spicy version on the website. I’ve never seen it in the store before. What caught my eye most, though, was a recipe for a Ground Beef and Cabbage casserole. I’ve been looking for a new recipe for cabbage and ground beef, so this recipe is perfect for my weekend dinner experiment!
