This Water Tastes Funny
Hailey has this little cup that came with her set of play dishes she got for Christmas. She recently decided that she wants to try drinking out of a regular cup rather than a sippy cup. So, she carries this little cup around and hands it to me every once in a while and says, “The waa peeezzzz” (the water please). And I usually put a little water in the cup for her.
So, the other night while Rich was riding around the living room on her Dora car, Hailey handed the cup to him and then waited for him to drink it. So, he took it a sip.
“This water tastes funny to me. Where did she get this water?” He asked me.
So, I told him I had been giving her water from the sink for her little cup.
A few minutes later Rich saw Hailey take her cup, dip it into Dottie’s water bowl and proudly announce “The waa.”

Haha!! Toooo cute!!! Anika loves the dog here, Cassie! She squeals with excitement every time we see her. She’s even managed to get hold of her and pull a few tufts of hair out!

Just wait till she is big enough to fix you guys breakfast in bed for those speacial occasions. Did Rich go brush his teeth? Aren’t children wonderful for keeping our lives hopping ;).

A very funny anecdote indeed. I hate to be in the shoes of your little son when he drank the water from the cup. Aaaargh!

That is so cute! At least it was from Dottie’s bowl and afterall she does get kisses from Dottie. One thing, I found interesting though was that you said RICH? was riding the Dora car around the living room??? Ha
