Fitness on Friday

Well, here we are at the 1st Fitness on Friday.  Each Friday Natalie will host Fitness on Friday at her Bye Bye Fat Mom blog (dontcha just love that name?).  I need a little accountability and motivation with my weight loss and I’m really hoping that joining this group will help me.

I was weighing in on Mondays- so since Monday I have lost a big old 1 pound.  Which is better than last week when I lost a big old 0.  I have been exercising this week and the motivation plan I talked about here- it’s working!  And I have lost inches this week too- which I know is way more important than pounds, especially since I have started exercising.

I’ve done pretty good with all of my snacking too.  I’m still snacking but not nearly as much.  I think I have replaced my snacking with coffee drinking.  Since I stopped nursing Hailey a few weeks ago my coffee consumption has been quite high.  I guess that wouldn’t be too bad if I didn’t use so much creamer.

Anyhoo- my main goals for this week are:

  • Drink 4 glasses of water per day (baby steps people, baby steps)
  • Continue exercising everyday (with one day off each week)

27 pounds to go!

Way to go celebrte your one pound! 1 pound is so much better than gaining! Good luck this week.

I SO should have named my blog “I am THAT fat mom!”

I’m going to check it out. I’ve never had a weight problem till this third child and I just can’t seem to get motivated to lose the last ten.

What with all the sweet tea I’m drinking?

Go Melanie Go!!! You can do this.

You go girl! Good for you. I think you should remind yourself that the baby steps are good. You are making lifestyle changes so you need to do it in steps. If you go all out, hard core, crazy exercise girl….it will be too hard to keep it up long term. This way you are more likely to stick with it and change some habits. Good job!

You’re doing great! Taking a day off from exercise is a great idea!

    You Can Do It!

    I have confidence in you!
