I’ve Been A Very Bad Blogging Friend

The last time I blogged about receiving an award was on November 13th (on my other blog).  And, it’s not because you all haven’t been giving them to me- you have been.  I have just been a very bad blogging friend and I haven’t blogged about the awards you’ve given me.  I appreciate them- I really do- they always make me smile and remind of the wonderful friendships I’ve made here in Bloggyville.

So, today I am going to try to play catch up.  I know I am going to miss an award that someone has given me because my memory is not as good as I like to pretend it is.  So, if you have given me an award in the last couple of months- do know that I appreciate it and that it certainly made me very happy.  But, if I leave out the award you gave me in this post please accept my apologies and blame my head, not my heart!

Here we go:

From Sharon at Sit With Me Awhile-
“.. here’s to all the blogs that you’ve discovered that you can’t possibly live without. They make you laugh, cry, think and feel connected every time you read a post. They give you a thrill as you see them loading into your browser and you get an equally satisfying thrill when you see that they have commented on your blog”.
From Xandra: creator, The Daily Dose Award.

Also, from Sharon at Sit With Me Awhile.  She says this about this award:

‘1. I think you are TOTALLY BO-DA-CIOUS dahlin! (southern drawl necessary here)
2. I am honored to call you my sister because you have an outright,
unmistakable love for God.
3. Last but not least–in God’s eyes you are remarkable and totally noteworthy in the kingdom of God.
I am honored to have such bodaciously incredible blogging friends and sisters.”

From Andrea at Lifesong and this is what she said about this award: “Not entirely sure what this award means, but I’m going to guess that it’s to be passed on to fellow bloggers who help us smile and prevent us from becoming crabby mommies…?? (am I close?)”

I am glad she clarified that because at first I thought she was calling me a crabby mommy :)

From Pam at Random Thoughts.  This is what she said about me, “Melanie has two blogs! Her Happy Happenings blog and Her Livin with Me blog are both great. She is one of the first people to send me an actual email…she always has a kind word and she is wonderful about supporting me when I am down. That means she has her work cut out for her!”

From Regina at Family Seasons and from Grams at Talk to Grams:

Regina said: ”I don’t know where to even begin with this treasure…First of all Melanie got me started blogging and exposed me to a whole new world! She calmly answered all of my questions… how do I get music, how do I get a hit counter, what is wordless Wednesday, can anybody join, Blah blah blah????? She always has a kind word and gentle advice. And her blog features the fabulous HAILEY!!! Hailey is our (yes I said our!!) miracle baby! And I am so proud of the life that Melanie has chosen (we were friends in another lifetime!!). She is so happy about her life and I applaud that! I love you Melanie & your blog is a Happyhappenings treasure!”
Grams said: “Melanie at Our Happy Happenings has a great blog and she too is a treasure.”

From Regina at Family Seasons and from Zam at Verb

And, here is what Regina said about this award: “So I am passing this on to the women who visit my blog and leave me encouraging, loving, uplifting and funny comments! This is for the sisters that I appreciate! Know that you are loved and appreciated.”

From Mama Geek at What Works For Us

I actually have three more awards, but I can’t remember who gave them to me.  So, I am very sorry!  From now on I will post about my awards that you all so thoughtfully give me right away before it becomes so overwhelming.

So, once again- thank you ladies for thinking of me and giving me these amazing awards!

Now if only I could catch up on all of the tags for memes I have had recently.  I may get around to one or two of them- but to save my sanity I’m not even going to try to do them all.  So, if I don’t do a meme you tagged me to do- I am sorry!

It’s okay. I forget all the time, too. I put the link in a draft and get back to it. But sometimes… I unwittingly sentence them to a lifetime in Draft.
